Chief Medical Officer

Jun Chon, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer of Adirondacks ACO, Chief Medical Officer of UVMHN
Elizabethtown Community Hospital, and continues to provide primary care at the Elizabethtown
Community Hospital Health Center. Dr. Chon has a BS in Chemical Engineering, a MD degree, and a MBA in Healthcare, and is a Board Certified Internist

Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Chon spent time in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, as both a primary care provider and held several leadership roles to include CMO. Dr. Chon and his wife Joyce have been married for 27 years and have three adult children, who are on track to become a physician, a nurse and a healthcare administrator.

In his spare time, Dr. Chon enjoys boating, travelling and singing as a member of the Burlington Choral Society. His favorite quote is – "Cure sometimes, Treat Often, Comfort Always" – Hippocrates.
